Do you relate yourself with them? I do!
This painting is a collaboration of Choujuu Giga, picture cartoon scrolls created in 12th and 13th century in Japan by unknown artist, and my imagination. When I saw these cute animals frolicking, I pictured them in ice-skating, because the frog would have been myself.
The frog was going to say "Merry Christmas" but he could only say "Meri-Chri", the shortened version.
Animals are drawn with calligraphy brush pen to closely resemble the ancient cartoon scrolls.
